Winter is treating me well right now – it’s getting colder every day which also means that those three centimeters of snow are still out there and seem to stay for a couple of more days, yay!
I think winter is one of the most perfect times of the year to relive some childhood memories … going sledging, making snowball fights, hiding in igloos and of course building snowmen! As my little brother is unfortunately living too far away for reliving those memories with me, I dragged Joonas out into the cold and made him build a snowman with me – thanks 🙂
We do not have a yard and there is actually not that much snow that the snowman could turn out very sophisticated. But we do have a very windy balcony where the snow is gathered in piles in every possible corner. There are also some frozen balcony plants and flowers left – yes, mum, I know you told me to take care of them before winter. However, without them the snowman would be a very tragic creature as they came in very handy for eyes, arms, hair and so on.
And considering the little snow we had, the lack of carrots for the classic nose and the difficulties when sticking arms & co into the snow without making it all fall apart he turned out really pretty …
