Spice up your life!

Today we had dinner in the city and we were not sitting INSIDE the restaurant but OUTSIDE – first time this year! And it felt amazing 🙂 spring is so wonderful! It’s amazing how bright and light it is outside. These days the sun rises a bit after 5am and sets around 9pm – it surprises and confuses me again every day 😉

As every season, spring is great for decoration. However, apart from my spring-prep post I haven’t shared any of the “springness” here. As I’m slowly getting back to my usual energy level after the first weeks of new job, I hereby announce some spring-posts-to-come-this-week 😉

Hey little lamb…

Today it was time for an Easter premiere – baking my very own Easter Lamb! 🙂

It’s a traditional cake for Easter in Austria. I asked my mum whether she could bring one with her when she visited last week but it probably would not have survived the journey… So, she just brought me a easter lamb baking form, how amazing is that?!

Juhuu!

Juhuu!

Girls, Girls, Girls

Today it was due date. Due date for finally packing away the Christmas decoration. And I have to admit that I got a bit sad when I put everything in its boxes. As it is not yet really time for spring decoration, the apartment feels really empty now. Luckily I have the best distraction coming up tonight – Hanna and I are gonna have a real Girls Movie Night 🙂 Continue reading

Getting out of Town

Today I’m off and out of town for something really special and amazing – having a typical Svensk Julbord in the Göteborg Archipelago, staying over night in a cosy hotel and enjoying this great experience 🙂 So, I’m back to glögg, pepparkakor, food, food and more food, leaving you with a wintery archipelago impression…
